Room 007 - Discovery Channel (2025)

The works from the series ‘Room 007 - Discovery Channel’ are part of an ongoing collaborative project exploring mental, emotional, and spiritual landscapes from a female perspective. The boxes function as ‘Discovery Channels’: micro-worlds where inner worlds can unfold and new meanings can emerge, a space for exploration, introspection, and interpretation.
The series brings up various associations for me. The models I photograph inside the boxes transform into ‘mysterious characters,’ while the boxes themselves resemble Barbie packaging, making the models appear as a kind of ‘alternative Barbies.’
